1. Complete the Housing Application
Once you have applied to the university, applications for university housing will be sent to you. You may also download the Ghafari and South Hall application or The Towers Residential Suites application. (If you are applying for summer housing, click here.)If you are under 18-years old, you and a parent or appropriate legal guardian must sign the housing application and contract.

2. Submit the appropriate application with $150 deposit
Mail to: Office of Housing and Residential Life, 5221 Gullen Mall, #598, Detroit, MI 48202

The $150 deposit includes a $100 security/damage deposit and a nonrefundable $50 processing fee. Please note: If we cannot place you in the residence hall(s) due to lack of space, we will refund your entire security deposit.

3. Sign a housing contract
You will receive a contract after you have paid your deposit and submitted a complete application. A complete contract is necessary to receive a room assignment.
