Before lease/license agreement ends, reisdents will receive information from the Office of Housing and Residential Life about the renewal and move out process.
Residents who would like to renew for another year will need to complete the online application/renewal process. The Office of Housing & Residential Life will alert residents when the application for the new academic year is available online and what the deadline for renewal is.
Students who intend to move out on their scheduled move-out date should notify the Housing Office at least 30 days in advance of their move-out date. Residents should schedule an appointment with their Community Director to perform their move-out inspection and complete the Room Condition Report (RCR). After this is completed, residents must turn in ther key at the front desk and will receive a copy of key receipt.The RCR will indicate the time and date that a resident moved out.
Students who wish to move out before their lease/license ends must submit a cancellation request form to the Office of Housing and Residential Life. Requests for cancellation will be reviewed by the Housing Office. Once a request has been accepted or denied, residents will be notified within 5-7 business days. If a request has been denied, residents may appeal to a committee by completing and submitting anappeal form.
