Moving In
Upon moving into your apartment building, you will complete a registration card and receive a room key. A member of the apartment staff will complete a walk-through to assess the condition of your apartment. Your participation in this inventory is required. The move-in sheet will form the basis of assessing charges for damages or missing university property during move-out. Both you and the staff member must sign the completed inventory sheet during move-in and move-out.

What WSU Provides
The university provides vertical blinds, refrigerators and stoves in all apartments.

What Not to Bring
The following items are not allowed in the apartment buildings:

  • Halogen lamps
  • Candles or oil lamps
  • Space heaters
  • Air conditioning units - unless specified
  • Portable washer/dryer
  • Water bed
  • Pets

Move-Out
At the expiration of the lease, all residents are expected to withdraw from the lease in writing at least 30 days in advance. If you are moving out of your apartment, you must make an appointment with the apartment community director to complete the apartment move-out form. Your participation in the move-out inventory is required. Please be sure to obtain a key receipt and copy of your move-out form that indicates the date and time of your move-out.
